Memory Alpha
Database of the United Federation of Planets
Access to Memory Alpha granted.
Welcome to the central repository of scientific and cultural information collected from all of the members of the United Federation of Planets, its neighbors and allies, and de-classified data from Starfleet. This information is available to all citizens of the UFP, Starfleet, and authorized guests to be added to their Library Computer Access & Retrieval System.
The Memory Alpha Project is an upgrade routine to assess the information contained in the database and to add, edit, remove, alter, and change the information as necessary to provide accurate and complete information to all users.
It is the goal of the Memory Alpha Project to collect data from all sources of Trek- including “canon’ sources like The Continuum; “quasi-canon” sources like the technical manuals, encyclopedia, and other sources produced by cast & crew of the show; the novels, comics, cartoons, magazines; and by fan-based sources like webpages, e-books, fan clubs, forums, and similar sources.
It is also the goal of the Project to make this information available to all Trekkies free of charge, to give credit where credit is due, and to unite the fandom.
The project is in need of volunteers to assist with the research, art, management, and other aspects necessary to the collection and distribution of this information. See the Tasks section to learn how to help.
